Reports to: Principal Engineer

Function: Production

Work Location/Site: Singapore

Role Overview

As process engineer, you will work closely the rest of the production team to support engineering work for manufacturing operations, technology and systems engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support in the setup of manufacturing facility and process documentation
• Build and train Operators in the operations of machinery and maintenance in compliance with GDP, quality and other relevant company’s standard
• Achieve efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality for assigned processes
• Propose solutions to improve productivity and lead time
• Ensure regular maintenance of machineries to prevent machine down time. Monitoring the efficient, feedback to manager and related department
• Responsible for troubleshooting of daily operations issues
• Investigate and implement preventive actions at source
• Leading of yield/productivity improvement or cost reduction project
• Support Production and Final inspection process validation activity in IQ, OQ and PQ, which the validation of mass-production equipment, with approved development specification and plans
• Other activities as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Experience

• 3 – 4 years or more experience(s) in chemical or medical devices industry
• Experience in both statutory accounting and commercial business partnering

Functional Competency

• Relevant working experience in process control and manufacturing operations
• Computer literate, proficient at Microsoft office
• Effective communication in English and Mandarin is essential and Japanese is a plus.
• Able to collaborate well within department to execute project tasks.
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to lead and coach team members
